DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures have announced an expansive worldwide press tour for the highly anticipated feature film Supergirl, bringing the film's stars and filmmakers to audiences across major international markets in celebration of one of DC's most iconic heroes returning to the big screen.

The global promotional campaign will include major stops in Los Angeles, London, New York City, and Rio de Janeiro, offering fans and media exclusive access to talent appearances, premiere events, interviews, and special fan-focused experiences in advance of the film's worldwide theatrical debut on June 26th.

Generating early excitement around the globe, a striking large-scale installation celebrating Supergirl has already emerged on the sands of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. The massive display, centered around the instantly recognizable "S" Shield and flanked by towering images of Kara Zor-El and her loyal companion Krypto, has quickly become a focal point for fans and visitors, signaling the start of the film's international celebration.

Supergirl, the newest cinematic chapter from DC Studios, arrives in theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, in a story that explores the character through a bold and emotionally charged new lens.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, the film follows Kara Zor-El as she is drawn into a dangerous conflict after a devastating threat strikes close to home. Forced beyond her comfort zone, Kara embarks on an extraordinary interstellar mission fueled by vengeance, resilience, and a search for justice, forging an unexpected alliance along the way.

Joining Alcock in the ensemble cast are Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

The film is produced by DC Studios co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn, and is based on DC characters, including Supergirl as originally created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Executive producers include Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars P. Winther.

Behind the camera, Gillespie is supported by an accomplished creative team including director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B. Sheppard, visual effects supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, and composer Saudie Sarne.

Additional dates, talent appearances, and market-specific details for the Supergirl global press tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
