Cancelled Superman Game Concept Art Revealed
Concept art from a long-rumoured Superman game appears to have surfaced on-line featuring the Man of Steel taking flight across the Metropolis skyline.
Twitter user Tatlinsky came across the concept art image on the personal website of artist Joël Dos Reis Viegas who is also the vice-president of Montreal creative agency Steambot which has worked in the past with video game developer WB Games Montreal on such titles as 'Batman: Arkham Origins' and 'Batman: Arkham Knight'.
Following the release of Arkham Origins in 2013, it was widely rumoured that WB Games Montreal was working on a Superman game. The new image, which was discovered in a portfolio of several images called 'Batman Games', is possibly from this Superman game.
Considering that there has been no word on this Superman game for several years, the title has almost certainly been scrapped. Furthermore, Arkham series creator Rocksteady Studios have repeatedly denied that they are developing a Superman game at this time.
