Brandon Routh Talks Superman and Character's Continued Relevancy

During the 2018 Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois, Voices From Krypton had the opportunity to speak with actor Brandon Routh who was a featured celebrity guest at the 40th annual event.

Routh of course starred as the Man of Steel in the 2006 film "Superman Returns" and has also portrayed the role of Ray Palmer/The Atom on the CW television series, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". Most recently, Routh made a triumphant return to the role of Superman on the CW's crossover event, "Crisis on Infinite Earths" in which he portrayed a Kingdom Come version of the Man of Steel.

In the following interview from 2018, Routh had just left the celebration's main stage where he had spoken with fans who expressed their love for him and his take on the role of Superman in the 2006 film. That connection kicks off the interview and leads into a discussion of the Man of Steel's continued relevancy in modern times. Check out the full interview below:
