Alex Ross Unveils Premium Superman #1 Tribute Comic for SDCC

DC Comics and acclaimed artist Alex Ross have teamed up for a San Diego Comic-Con 2025 exclusive: a limited-edition Superman #1 Tribute Comic honoring the iconic 1939 debut of the Man of Steel.

This special facsimile edition reproduces the original Superman #1 interior, complete with its classic story, vintage artwork, and period advertisements. The cover features Alex Ross's fully painted tribute to Joe Shuster's historic original, available in two collectible versions:

•A Cover: Tribute design with original 1939 trade dress
•B Cover: Virgin variant showcasing Ross's artwork in full

Each version will be offered in multiple formats:

•Unsigned: $40 (A Cover), $50 (B Cover)
•Signed with Certificate of Authenticity: $100
•CGC Signature Series 9.8: $250
