Alex Ross Art Introduces Two New Superman and Kingdom Come Works for NYCC 2026

Alex Ross Art is bringing two new pieces of fine art to New York Comic Con 2026, spotlighting Superman and the celebrated Kingdom Come universe in new limited-edition works created by acclaimed artist Alex Ross.

Both Superman: Answering the Call and Kingdom Come: The Reckoning are identified by Alex Ross Art as New York Comic Con 2026 exclusives. The two releases offer collectors distinctly different looks at the Man of Steel while continuing Ross's long-running association with Superman and the DC Universe.

Superman: Answering the Call

Superman: Answering the Call depicts the Man of Steel flying into action, with Ross presenting Superman in a dynamic pose that emphasizes both his extraordinary physical power and the compassion that guides his use of that power. Alex Ross Art describes the piece as a new fine-art work created for NYCC 2026.

The release is a Fine Art Giclée Print on Paper with hand-deckled edges and measures 23 by 17 inches. The edition is limited to 100 pieces, with each print hand-numbered and signed by Alex Ross and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The listed price is US$495.00, and the official product page currently provides a waiting-list option.

Kingdom Come: The Reckoning

Kingdom Come: The Reckoning was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kingdom Come, the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning series that helped establish Ross as one of comics' most celebrated artists. The new composition places Superman at the center, surrounded by the heroes and generations that define the landmark story.

The work is offered as a Fine Art Digital Print on Paper in an edition of 30, corresponding with the 30th anniversary of Kingdom Come. Each print is hand-numbered and signed by Alex Ross and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The listed price is US$295.00, and the official product page currently provides a waiting-list option.

Originally published in 1996, Kingdom Come was written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Alex Ross. The story remains one of the best-known collaborations between the writer and artist and continues to be represented in Ross's fine-art work.

Both pieces are being offered through Alex Ross Art as NYCC 2026 exclusives. Collectors can find additional product information, availability details and purchasing options at AlexRossArt.com.
