Rocksteady Studios have confirmed that they are not currently working on a Superman game and that the studio will not be making an announcement at the upcoming Game Awards about their next project.
Rocksteady co-founder and game director, Sefton Hill took to Twitter to let fans know that the often rumored Superman game is not what the studio has in production:
Looking forward to #TheGameAwards this year! We’re still hard at work in our development bunker so don’t expect an announcement from @Rocksteadygames. When it’s ready to show, you’ll be the first to know. Spoiler: it’s not Superman ??

Rumors of a Rocksteady Superman game have been around for years with fans hoping that the studio would follow up their hit "Batman: Arkham" series with a game centered on the Man of Steel. Rumor of such a game recently flared back up after a listing appeared for a Rocksteady developed game titled "Superman: World's Finest".
The Game Awards 2018 will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, December 6th at 8:30PM (EST).
