Fans Hopeful for Superman Cameo in "Shazam!" as Film Prepares for Reshoots

ProdWeekly has announced via Instagram that the "Shazam!" production team will be heading back to Toronto for roughly three weeks to film reshoots.
This new report has sparked hopes among Superman fans that actor Henry Cavill will have a cameo appearance in "Shazam!" as the Man of Steel which would could easily happen considering that it has been established that the film is set within the same universe as prior DC films.
However, a cameo may still not take place as Cavill is set to star in the lead role of Netflix's upcoming series adaptation of "The Witcher". Furthermore, Variety recently reported that Warner Bros. is done with any future projects starring Cavill as Superman; a report that the studio has neither confirmed or denied.
In a nutshell, it's hard to say at this tume if fans will ever see Cavill don the iconic suit again but, when the "Shazam!" reshoots get under way in November, more information may become available.
Set to premiere on April 5th, 2019, director David F. Sandberg's "Shazam!" stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Zachary Levi as Shazam, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, Djimon Hounsou as an ancient wizard named Shazam, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Jack Dylan Grazer as Frederick "Freddy" Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vásquez and Marta Milans as Rosa Vásquez.
