Henry Cavill Responds to Death Hoax
Superman died for a brief period of time at the hands of Doomsday in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" before being resurrected in "Justice League" and, thanks the an erroneous report, the same fate recently befell Henry Cavill.
Wikipedia was the source of the mistake when it was reported that Cavill had died this past Saturday, March 3rd. The popular website has since corrected the error but not before Cavill took to Instagram to assure fans that he was still very much alive.
Cavill's post features a selfie of the 34-year-old British actor with a look of disbelief alongside a screenshot of the Wikipedia report and the caption, "When you learn that you died 2 days ago....". The post has since garnered over 900,000 likes as of Tuesday afternoon.
