"The Art of DC - The Dawn of Super Heroes" Exhibit Opens in the Netherlands

The major international exhibition "The Art of DC - The Dawn of Super Heroes" recently opened at the Forum Groningen Cultural Center in the city of Groningen in the northern Netherlands. This is your chance to admire great props such as the Batmobile in real life because, after Groningen, this exhibition can no longer be seen in Europe.

The Art of DC features over 160 original drawings and 200 artworks of DC's most famous Super Heroes and Super Villains, dozens of original costumes and props from the blockbuster films, film clips and interviews. This includes the three-foot Batpod from Christopher Nolan's Batman rendition, a scale model of the Batmobile from Joel Schumacher's film, Jack Nicholson's Joker suit, Christopher Reeve's famous Superman cape and Lynda Carter's iconic Wonder Woman costumes from the 70s.

In addition, there are hundreds of original drawings made for the classic comics, and just as many preparatory storyboards and artwork from the various cinema films. And of course you will be immersed in film fragments and interviews with actors and makers of the superhero films.

The exhibition runs through January 8th, 2023. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit the Forum Groningen Cultural Center.
