Multiple theater locations across regions of New Zealand will feature a special one-night-only screening of "Superman: The Movie" in 4K Ultra HD on Friday, June 14th.
Directed by Richard Donner, the 1978 blockbuster film traces the world's most famous superhero from Krypton infancy and Smallville boyhood, to his career as Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent (Chrisopher Reeve) alongside Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, Marlon Brando as Jor-El, Ned Beatty as Otis, Jackie Cooper as Perry White, Glen Ford as Jonathan Kent, Valerie Perrine as Eva Teschmacher, and Terrance Stamp as General Zod.
The Ultra HD version of the film showcases 4K resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) and a wider color spectrum, offering brighter, deeper, more lifelike colors for a cinema viewing experience like never before.
