"Superman Takes Flight" Drone Show to Light Up the Skies at 47th Annual Superman Celebration

The Greater Metropolis Convention & Visitors Bureau is thrilled to announce an awe-inspiring new addition to this year's 47th Annual Superman Celebration - a spectacular drone show titled "Superman Takes Flight". This cutting-edge aerial experience will take place on Saturday, June 14th at 8:30 PM, dazzling attendees with a breathtaking display above the skies of Superman's official hometown of Metropolis, Illinois.
Presented by SkyGlow Drone Productions, the show promises a fully customized visual journey through the legacy of the Man of Steel. Hundreds of synchronized drones will dance through the night sky, forming Superman-themed images accompanied by a powerful, perfectly timed musical soundtrack. Using state-of-the-art drone lighting technology, SkyGlow will bring Superman's story to life like never before.
The Superman Celebration, running Friday, June 13th through Sunday, June 15th, is a long standing festival and a must see event for people of all ages, especially comic book lovers. Every year, nearly 30,000 visitors flock to the small town of 6,500 residents in southern Illinois to celebrate their favorite hero in his official hometown.
