"Supergirl" UK Fan Event Set for Leicester Square

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios will host a special UK fan event in Leicester Square on Thursday, June 18th celebrating the upcoming DC Universe film, "Supergirl", offering fans a unique opportunity to engage with the film's premiere festivities ahead of its global release.
The event will highlight the cinematic debut of Kara Zor-El, portrayed by Milly Alcock, as part of the expanding DC Universe. Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, "Supergirl" follows Kara on an interstellar journey of identity, resilience, and purpose, marking a new chapter for the iconic character on the big screen.
The Leicester Square activation will feature immersive fan experiences, themed installations, and a red-carpet showcase designed to bring audiences closer to the film's cast and creative team. The event is expected to be a centerpiece of the global promotional campaign surrounding the release.
As part of the fan engagement initiative, members of the public can enter a ballot for the chance to win two passes to watch the red-carpet arrivals in person. Both general admission and accessible viewing area options will be available. The ballot closes at 23:59 on June 4, with winners selected at random. Entries can be submitted through the official application page.
"Supergirl" is produced by DC Studios co-chairs James Gunn and Peter Safran and features a cast including Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa, alongside David Corenswet in a connected DC Universe appearance. The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release between June 24th - 26th, 2026, including IMAX screenings in select territories.
