Roles of Teenage Twins Casts on "Superman & Lois" Series

Actors Jordan Elsass ("Little Fires Everywhere") and Alexander Garfin ("The Peanuts Movie") have joined the cast of "Superman & Lois" in respective roles of Jonathan Kent and Jordan Kent; the teenaged twin sons of Clark Kent and Lois Lane on the new upcoming CW television series.

According to Deadline, the character of Jonathan is described as clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn't seem dated while the character of Jordan is described as wildly intelligent with a mercurial temperament and social anxiety that limits his interactions with people, and consequently, results in him preferring to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games.

The two young actors will appear opposite Tyler Hoechlin and Elzabeth Hoechlin who star as the world's most famous super hero and comic books' most famous journalist dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today's society.

The series will be produced by Greg Berlanti Productions which also oversees the CW's current line-up of superhero programming. Todd Helbing will serve as writer and executive producer.

"Superman & Lois" will be the latest television series based on the Man of Steel following such other series as "Smallville" which also aired on the CW and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" which aired on ABC in the 90's.
