Original Copies of "Superman #1" Available at Auction

Heritage Auctions is currently offering two vintage, unrestored copies of "Superman #1" as part of their Comics & Comic Art Signature Auction #7379 which takes place September 12 - 15, 2024. Heritage offers the following description of each copy of the legendary comic book:
Superman #1 (DC, 1939) CGC Apparent VG/FN 5.0 Moderate (P) Cream to off-white pages. The origin story of Superman is showcased in this groundbreaking first issue, with the narrative and artwork crafted by his co-creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. This is one of the most coveted issues in the history of comic books and is notoriously difficult to find in appealing condition. Our offering here presents beautifully, with bright colors and a tight spine, giving it remarkable eye appeal. Presently, this issue is ranked #3 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics, surpassed only by Action Comics #1 and Detective Comics #27!
