Helen Slater and Laura Vandervoort Attending Collectormania 26 Film & Comic Con

Former Supergirl actresses Helen Slater and Laura Vandervoort will be appearing at the upcoming Collectormania 26 Film & Comic Con which takes place June 1st & 2nd at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, England.
Slater is best known for her starring role as the title character in the 1984 film "Supergirl" opposite Faye Dunaway and Peter O'Toole. Throughout the 1980's, she also starred in several successful comedy-drama films such as "The Legend of Billie Jean," "Ruthless People," and "The Secret of My Success".
In recent years, Slater has returned to the DC Cinematic Universe on both the television series "Smallville" as Clark Kent's Kryptonian mother Lara and as Kara Danver's adoptive mother Eliza Danvers on the hit CW television series "Supergirl".
Vandervoort is best known for her starring role as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl on "Smallville". She has also starred on such television series as "V," "Goosebumps," and "Bitten". In 2016, she returned to the DC Comics Universe as the character of Indigo / Brainiac 8 on the hit CW series, "Supergirl".
Later this year, Vandervoort will have a starring in the all-new Netflix original series "V-Wars" which is based on a series of novels by Jonathan Maberry that centers around a vampire virus which has infected half of the world's population resulting in a war between humans and vampires.
