Free Screening of "Superman: The Movie" in Springfield, Missouri

The Moxie Cinema in Springfield, Missouri will present a free screening of "Superman: The Movie" on Saturday, February 15th at 10:00am as part of their monthly series focusing on essential films for kids to see before they turn 13.
An alien orphan is sent from his dying planet to Earth, where he grows up to become his adoptive home's first and greatest superhero. Christopher Reeve stars as the Man of Steel in this Richard Donner directed big-budget epic with Oscar-winning effects alongside Marlon Brando as Jor-El, Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, Ned Beatty as Otis, Valerie Perrine as Miss Teschmacher, Jackie Cooper as Perry White, Susannah York as Lara, and Glenn Ford as Jonathan Kent.
