First Look at Azie Tesfai as Guardian on "Supergirl"
The CW has released a first look image of actress Azie Tesfai as the new Guardian in the sixth & final of "Supergirl".
Tesfari stars as Kelly Olsen who will debut in the role of the Guardian in the September 21st episode of the current season titled "Blind Spots". Kelly's brother, James Olsen (Mechad Brooks), was the original Guardian leaving before National City to return to his hometown to run a newspaper speaking out against injustice.
The upcoming episode was co-written by Tesfai and co-producer J. Holtham and will tackle themes of racial inequality. Actor David Ramsey directed the episode and will also be featured in his role of John Diggle (aka Spartan) which he originated in the 2012 pilot episode of "Arrow".
