Emmanuelle Chriqui Joins "Superman & Lois" Cast as Lana Lang
Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui has been cast in the role of Lana Lang on "Superman & Lois", the new CW straight-to-series drama featuring actors Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprising their "Supergirl" roles as the Man of Steel and Lois Lane.
According to Deadline, Chriqui will play Lana Lang-Cushing, the loan officer at Smallville Bank who stayed in Smallville when others left for something bigger and brighter. Lana re-establishes her friendship with her old friend, Clark Kent, during one of the most difficult periods in her life.
Chriqui is best known for her respective roles as Sloan McQuewick on HBO's "Entourage" and Lorelei Martins on the CBS series "The Mentalist". She most recently starred as Dr. Lila Kyle in the short-lived Fox television series "The Passage".
Other cast members include Jordan Elssas and Alexander Garfin as Lois and Clark's sons, Jonathan & Jordan Kent and Dylan Walsh as Lois' father, Samuel Lane.
"Superman & Lois" will feature the world's most famous super hero and comic books' most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today's society. The series will be produced by Greg Berlanti Productions which also oversees the CW's current line-up of superhero programming. Todd Helbing will serve as writer and executive producer.
