Christopher Reeve Superman Costume Sells at Auction

A complete Superman costume worn by Christopher Reeve in "Superman: The Movie", "Superman: II", and "Superman: III" recently sold for £312,500 at Propstore's Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.
The costume features a blue knit leotard with the stylized Superman logo sewn into the front with attached red trunks, a pair of matching knit tights, cape with yellow Superman logo sewn into the back, yellow belt, and a pair of red boots.
The costume was the featured headline item in the four-day auction and was expected to sell for between US$287,270 and US$574,540.
