Christopher Reeve Superman Costume Heading to Auction

A complete Superman costume worn by Christopher Reeve in the 1978 blockbuster film, "Superman: The Movie" is heading to auction at Propstore's upcoming Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.

The costume is expected to sell for between US$287,270 and US$574,540 and features a blue knit leotard with the stylized Superman logo sewn into the front with attached red trunks, a pair of matching knit tights, cape with yellow Superman logo sewn into the back, yellow belt, and a pair of red boots.

The Superman costume is the featured headline item in the four-day Propstore auction which will see over 1,500 lots go under the hammer beginning Thursday, November 3rd and running through to Sunday, November 6th.
