The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra will continue its 10th Anniversary season with a multi-media concert event "Celebrating John Williams" on April 27th and 28th
The concert will be held at the Scott Center for Performing Arts in Melbourne, FL on April 27th at 7:00pm and at Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, FL on April 28th at 3:00pm.
Conductor and Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins will conduct 18 pieces by the legendary film music composer, with selections from Superman, Jurassic Park, E.T., Hook and more with several pieces being accompanied by on-screen movie clips.
Multiple pieces will also be played from the Star Wars film series, including A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Attack of the Clones and The Force Awakens.
Two musicians will be spotlighted during the concert; Principal clarinetist, Jennifer Royals will be a featured soloist during "Victor's Theme" from The Terminal and SCSO Concertmaster, Carey Moorman, will play the violin solos in the musical selection from Schindler's List.
$25.00 advance tickets for adults are currently available through the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at the orchestra's official ticket outlet, Marine Bank & Trust. The concert is free for those aged 18 and under or with a student ID.
