Artist Dan Mora Shares First Look at "Action Comics #1" Golden Age-Size Facsimile Edition Homage Cover

Artist Dan Mora has revealed the first look at the highly anticipated homage cover for the Golden Age-Size Facsimile Edition of "Action Comics #1". The cover, which will be part of DC's "Summer of Superman" publishing initiative, celebrates the iconic debut of Superman, marking the anniversary of historic 1938 comic.
This new homage cover, unveiled across Mora's various social media accounts, reimagines the iconic imagery of Superman's first appearance, featuring a breathtaking interpretation of actor David Corenswet's Man of Steel from James Gunn's upcoming "Superman" movie. The piece showcases the Man of Steel in stunning detail, blending a tribute to the classic Golden Age artwork with a fresh take inspired by the modern cinematic incarnation of the character.
As part of the "Summer of Superman" initiative, this Golden Age–Size Facsimile Edition will be released to coincide with Superman Day on April 18, 2025 - the anniversary of the original debut of "Action Comics #1".
