Actor Michael Ironside Attending 2025 Superman Celebration

Veteran actor Michael Ironside has been announced as an official guest at the upcoming 2025 Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL which takes place Friday, June 13th - Sunday, June 15th.
Within the Superman Universe, Ironside is best known as the voice of Darkseid in "Superman: The Animated Series," "Justice League," "Justice League Unlimited," and "Harley Quinn". He also starred in the role of Lois Lane's father, General Sam Lane in the hit CW television series "Smallville". In addition, Ironside has starred in numerous film and television roles over his decades long career including "Scanners," "Top Gun," "Total Recall," "Highlander II: The Quickening," "Starship Troopers," "The Perfect Storm," "Terminator Salvation," "X-Men: First Class," "V: The Series," "ER," "seaQuest 2032," and "Cold Case".
Ironside will be in attendance during the celebration on Friday, June 13th only to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photo-ops. Other guests scheduled to attend include Dean Cain (Clark Kent/Superman - "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman") and Anais Fairweather (Voice of Supergirl - "DC Super Hero Girls").
The Superman Celebration is a long standing festival and a must see event for people of all ages, especially comic book lovers. Superman fans travel from all over the globe to visit the small southern Illinois town that is the Official Home of Superman. The real life Metropolis, with a population of 6,500 residents, welcomes approximately 30,000 people over the course of the celebration.
