"Superman Lives" Costume Design Images Released
Special effects artist Steve Johnson has recently uploaded some photos of his work from Tim Burton's canceled "Superman Lives" movie.
The film was slated to star actor Nicolas Cage in the lead role of Superman with a script based on the "Doomsday" comic book storyline in which the Man of Steel dies only to be resurrected a short while later.
Due to constant delays, "Superman Lives" was ultimately scrapped altogether and never made it past the pre-production phases which included many designs and sculptures of the Superman costume being created.
The new album features 22 images of these different suit designs, sculpts and tests. Many of the photographs have never been seen before and show what could have been:
