As opposed to a more traditional color, it appears as though Adams will be keeping her natural reddish hair color for the role. This will not, however, be the first time the Lois Lane character has sported red hair.

Actress Noel Neill who starred as Lois Lane in the 1950's tv series, "The Adventures of Superman" had red hair and the Lois Lane character that was featured in the classic Superman comic strips that used to appear in Sunday Newspapers also had red hair.
