August 7, 2013: Teri Hatcher Talks Returning to Superman Universe
by Neil A. Cole
In a recent interview with Radiotimes.com, former Lois Lane actress Teri Hatcher talked about her starring role on the hit 90's tv series, "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" and how she would love to return to the Superman universe if ever the opportunity should arise.
"I would love to do something Superman," stated Hatcher. "Lois with Dean [Cain who played Superman] or whatever, but I don’t know what it is. That’s the thing. Until there's actually something real I don't know what it is. But am I open minded? Sure."
Hatcher went on to discuss her thoughts on the relationship between Lois Lane and Superman's alter ego, Clark Kent, in the recent blockbuster hit, "Man of Steel."
"I really still strongly feel that the basis of the strength of the story is between Lois and Clark. I hope that they're going to make another film because I'd like to see [Man of Steel stars] Amy Adams and Henry Cavill get to do even more. It was a little shy on that part of the story and I would have enjoyed seeing them do a little more."
Hatcher's latest role is that of the voice of Dottie, an adorable forklift truck, in Disney's upcoming animated film "Planes" which hits theaters Friday, August 9th.
