In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Natalie Portman denied rumors that she would be appearing in DC Entertainment's upcoming tentpole movies, Zack Snyder's Superman reboot and Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises".

When asked about Superman, Portman stated, "What is that? (laughs) No, I haven't heard anything."

And whether she will appear in the next Batman film; Portman said, "Oh, I don't know anything about that."

Whether Portman is just being coy and will ultimately appear in either film remains to be seen, but it would not be her first venture into the Superhero film genre.

She previously starred in "V For Vendetta" and will appear in the upcoming Kenneth Branagh film "Thor" playing Jane Foster.
