November 30, 2011: Farrelly Bothers to Spoof DC Superheroes in "Movie 43"

In a recent interview with ComingSoon.com, actress Leslie Bibb talked about her role as Wonder Woman in a comedy sketch segment of next year's feature film, "Movie 43."

The segment was shot and directed by the Farrelly Brothers and will spoof DC Comics' superheroes who are attending a speed-dating event. Alongside Bibb's Wonder Woman will be Superman (Bobby Cannavale), Batman (Jason Sudeikis), Supergirl (Kristen Bell), and the Penguin (John Hodgman).

"I'm Wonder Woman and I have on this amazing wig and the whole getup, which was pretty fantastic. And I'm crazier than bat sh*t," stated Bibb in the interview. "Like, she is really crazy, and so it was really fun because I know Jason [Batman] and he won't call me back and I love him and he just doesn't care about me. And so it proved to be a good time. The Farrelly brothers directed one short and they were the main producers on it."

Other comedy sketches in the film are being directed by such talents as Bob Odenkirk, Brett Ratner, James Gunn, and Elizabeth Banks.

"Movie 43" is scheduled to hit theaters on April 13th, 2012 and will also star Emma Stone, Chloe Moretz, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Anna Faris, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Uma Thurman, Richard Gere, and Liev Schreiber.
