Some of the scenes for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" currently being filmed in Chicago are reportedly being shot with IMAX cameras.
According to Batman-News, various sources have stated that director Zack Snyder is apparently taking a page out of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and shooting some sequences for the highly anticipated film in IMAX.
One source, a Chicago native named Mike Eisenberg who owns and operates his own production company in Chicago, posted the following Tweets confirming that crews were indeed filming the infamous murder of Bruce Wayne's parents last night using IMAX cameras.
Lots of people waiting in cold to watch scene film, but it looked like the IMAX cameras were not handling the cold well. Could be a while.

I can confirm with my own eyes that Batman vs Superman is filming at least the Wayne murder scene with full IMAX film cameras.
