October 27, 2014: David Goyer Developing "Krypton" TV Series?

Writer/producer David Goyer ("Man of Steel," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice") is reportedly at work developing a new Superman-themed television series which will be titled "Krypton."

According to Bleeding Cool, the name suggests that the series could be set in a pre-Superman time period on the planet Krypton, possibly involving the House Of El, Brainiac, or even an end of the world cult.

It's also possible that the series might ultimately be inspired by author John Byrne's 1986 comic book limited series "The Man of Steel" which told the story of Superman's modern origin, which had been rebooted with the 1986 series "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

As of this writing, there have been no further details on the rumored series as well as no official comment from Warner Bros.
