October 23, 2014: Former Girl Scout Camp Sees More Activity from "Batman v. Superman" Crews

Production crews and personnel for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" have begun bringing in camping trailers and cars to the location of a former Girl Scout camp in the Metamora Township of Lapeer County, MI.

Due to the site's extremely wooded and isolated location, speculation has been that it will double as the location of the Bat Cave but, for now, that is strictly a rumor.

Activity at the site first commenced back in June of this year when several semi-trucks were seen bringing various items and equipment into the area.

"This is a major Hollywood thing. From what I understand, they're already out there doing stuff," stated Metamora Fire Chief Dave Eady in a prior interview. "There's a beautiful lake back there. They're building a home for one scene. All they're doing is one scene there, then they're going to tear everything down like they were never here."

In an interview with MLive, local Metamora resident Jeremiah Barker stated that he was informed months ago that the site would be used for filming and that the trailers and cars began pulling into the site the night of October 20th.

Here are a few photos showing the recent activity at the former Girl Scout camp sight:

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
