October 19, 2015: LexCorp Website Seeks E-Mail Addresses from Fans
Warner Bros. recently launched the LexCorp.io website as part of their viral marketing campaign for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
The site has now been updated and is asking for e-mail addresses which, as opposed to spamming fans, will result in updates on the highly anticipated film including bonus material and other marketing promotions.
Once fans have submitted their e-mail address, a confirmation is sent out stating, "Thank you for signing up! We'll send you the latest information on Lex/OS soon."
The LexCorp site also features a streamlined video introduction which is followed by the corporation's mission statement which states, "Lexcorp is building a better tomorrow, today. Lexcorp provides expertise and research to the global marketplace and cross-industry innovations that transform and inspire. We build products that help millions of homes, businesses and governments work better."
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres nationwide in US theaters and select IMAX locations on March 25th, 2016.
