October 13, 2015: "Supergirl" Casts Actor Chris Vance as Kryptonian Villain Non
Actor Chris Vance ("Transporter: The Series," "Dexter") has landed the role of the Kryptonian Villain Non on the upcoming CBS Television series "Supergirl".
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Vance's version of the character will be quite different from actor Jack O'Halloran's portrayal in "Superman: The Movie" and "Superman: II".
As opposed to being a mute and powerful minion of General Zod, the character will be portrayed as a ruthless and brutal Kryptonian military officer whose sinister ways are in direct contrast to everything Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands for.
Vance is the latest actor to join the "Supergirl" cast which will star actress Benoist in the lead role. The series premieres on Monday, October 26th at 8:30pm (EST), before moving to it's regular time slot on Mondays at 8:00pm (EST).
