The transition of "Supergirl" from CBS to The CW managed to pull in strong numbers for the series season two premiere last night.
According to TVLine, the premiere drew in 3 million viewers and a 1.1 18-49 demo rating. The premiere was also the CW's most-watched program in the Monday - 8:00PM timeslot in nearly eight years and had the best rating in the 18-49 demographic in six years.
The season two premiere may have not drawn in the 6.1 million/1.3 numbers that it did for it's debut on CBS last year, but it was still a strong win for The CW and bodes well for the longevity of the series on the network.
All-in-all, TVLine readers gave the episode an average grade of "A-".
