October 6, 2015: New Justice League Animated Series Coming to Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network has confirmed that a new animated series based on the iconic characters of the Justice League will be coming to the channel next year.
The Canada division of the network made the announcement via Worlds Finest stating that the series will most likely premiere in Fall, 2016.
Specualtion that a new series involving the DC Comics team of superheroes was on the way began a month ago when an image - reportedly taken at the Warner Bros. offices in Burbank, CA - surfaced on Reddit which featured a poster with the letters JLA against a background of silouettes of various Justice League members.
The team was previously featured in an animated series from November 17, 2001 – May 29, 2004 which was followed by "Justice League Unlimited" from July 31, 2004 – May 13, 2006.
