September 29, 2015: "Batman v Superman" Receives PG-13 Rating
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has officially given "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" a rating of PG-13.
According to Box Office Mojo, the highly anticipated film received the rating due to "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality".
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens in theaters and select IMAX locations nationwide on March 25th, 2016.
