September 26, 2017: CW Releases Official Trailer for "Supergirl - Season Three"

The CW has released the official trailer for the upcoming season three premiere of "Supergirl" which will pick up right where season two left off with Kara (Melissa Benoist) still coming to terms with the loss of Mon-El (Chris Wood).

The new season will see the introduction of such new characters as the Worldkiller, Reign (Odette Annable), father of J'onn J'onzz - M'yrnn J'onzz (Carl Lumbly) and Morgan Edge (Adrian Pasdar). Former "Smallville" actress Erica Durance will also join the series as Kara's mother Alura Zor-El who was previously portrayed by actress Laura Benanti.

A major highlight to look forward to in the third season is another four-series crossover event airing this November featuring the wedding of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Patton) as well as the introduction of the Earth-X Supergirl whose universe is ruled by the Nazis following their victory in World War II.

"Supergirl - Season Three" premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8:00PM (EST) on The CW.
