The full-length Superman fan-film "It All Goes Away" from filmmaker Zachariah Smith has been officially released.
The film is an adaptation of the 2006 short story "Sam's Story" written by television/comic book writer Jeph Loeb that originally appeared in Superman/Batman #26.
The story was written to honor the memory of Loeb's son who tragically passed away in 2005 at the age of 17 following a three-year battle with bone cancer.
The short story and fan-film features a young Clark Kent coming to terms with the loss of a close friend named Sam Alexander whose passing serves as the inspiration for Clark to later become Superman.
