September 18, 2017: Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck Talk Evolution of Characters in "Justice League"

In a recent interview with US Weekly, actors Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot talked about their respective roles as Batman and Wonder Woman in "Justice League" how their characters have evolved since appearing in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
"She's grown up - it's been a century, after all! She'll bring her specific qualities to a group dynamic, and she understands the enemy better than anyone else," states Gadot about Wonder Woman, with Affleck adding in regard to Batman, "In Batman v Superman, he was at the end of his rope. But in Justice League he's finding hope again. He has to open up and play well with others. He knows he needs them."
Affleck continued about his character as the ultimate loner, "but he's really trying to make it work and develop a good relationship with all of them. He might be a mentor to The Flash."
The dynamic between Batman and Wonder Woman has also evolved since they fought side-by-side in "Batman v Superman" with Gadot stating, "Since they've fought together, they know each other's strengths. They also understand the hope Superman stood for, that was lost [when he died], so they feel that more than the others."
"Justice League" premieres worldwide on November 17th and stars Affleck as Batman, Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
