August 28, 2015: Artist Howard Porter Replacing John Romita Jr. on Superman Titles?
A recent article from Bleeding Cool states that John Romita Jr. has been offered a new project at DC Comics and will be replaced by Howard Porter on the publisher's Superman title.
[Howard Porter] is the new ongoing artist for Superman, for now at least.
But what of John Romita Jr? I understand, despite some scurrilous rumour mongers, that he has not quit the title, rather he was offered a new project by DC Comics, something so enticing that he couldn’t help but grab it with both hands.
Porter has recently worked on such DC titles as Superman Beyond and, in August of 2013, was announced as the artist on Justice League 3000.
