During a recent break in filming on the Detroit set of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice", actors Henry Cavill and Amy Adams took the ALS ice bucket challenge which was captured in the following video:
The challenge - which is designed to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) - dares nominated participants to be filmed having a bucket of ice water poured on their heads and challenging others to do the same.
Nominated participants are expected to donate $10 if they have poured the ice water over their head or donate $100 if they have not.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman alongside Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, and Scoot McNairy also star in yet-to-be-confirmed roles.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
