According to "The Death of Super Man Lives! - What Happened?" documentary director John Schnepp, Warner Bros. is supposedly eyeing George Miller for the "Man of Steel - Part II" director's chair.
"George Miller, he's doing Man of Steel 2," stated Schnepp in latest episode of Popcorn Talk's DC Movie News show. "Obviously Zack Snyder is doing Justice League 1 and 2, we already got James Wan doing Aquaman – Waterman I think they should change the title– but yeah I think George Miller is a perfect choice to do Man of Steel 2, he's going to bring so much to it."
While the events from "Man of Steel" will be a major focus of the storyline in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", Warner Bros. still has plans to put together a direct sequel to the 2013 blockbuster film and it would certainly be interesting to see Miller bring his unique style to the Superman universe.
As of this writing, Warner Bros. has yet to offer any confirmation or statement in regard to this latest news and it should be treated as strictly rumor for now.
