August 18, 2014: "Batman v. Superman" Filming in Morocco this Fall

According to the following recent tweet from Morocco based producer/director Nassim Abassi, production work of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be moving to the North African country this Fall.

— nassim abassi (@nassimabassi) August 19, 2014When asked to elaborate on the news, Abassi stated that the highly anticipated film is "being shot over here under a code name" and that "the filming permit for the production in Morocco was issued with those dates."
Although this latest news should be classified as a rumor until official word comes from Warner Bros., it was revealed in late 2013 that work on the film would indeed take place at some point in Africa.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
