One scene that may be filmed in Chicago is a big stunt that was originally supposed to take place in Detroit. The stunt reportedly involves a helicopter and a hole being blown in the roof of a building.
Other scenes will be shot on the reconstructed Kent Farm set which is located about 50 miles west of Chicago in the city of Yorkville.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
