Actress Sarah Douglas will be appearing as a featured guest at the 2015 Stoke Con Trent - Comic & Memorabilia Show which takes place October 4th at the Leek Road Venue in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
Douglas is best remembered for her role in "Superman: The Movie" and "Superman: II" as the Kryptonian villainess Ursa. Other memorable roles include Queen Taramis in "Conan: The Destroyer" and Pamela in the original 1984 television mini-series "V".
Even though Douglas was born and raised in the UK in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and knew that she wanted to act, she did try to expand options available to her. She worked in a factory and for a time, also in a sterilising department of a hospital. She briefly moved to France and also undertook a teacher training course in English and Drama. However, these were all abandoned in favour of acting.
In 2006, she was reunited with many of her Superman co-stars in Los Angeles as the new version of Superman II (known as "Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut") was released with previously unseen footage. At the same time, a new Superman DVD boxset was released, featuring an interview with Douglas.
Other guests scheduled to be in attendance alongside Douglas include David Prowse ("Star Wars Trilogy"), Sylvester McCoy ("Dr. Who", "The Hobbit Trilogy"), and Rusty Goffe ("Willow", "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2").
