Former "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" star, Dean Cain has joined the voice cast of the English-language version of "The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya", the latest animated pic from Studio Ghibli.
The film is based on an ancient Japanese folk story called the "Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" which tells the story of a princess named Kaguya who is discovered as a baby by an old man who sells bamboo inside the stalk of a glowing bamboo plant.
Cain, who's role has not yet been revealed, will star in the animated film alongside actress Chloe Grace Moretz ("Kick-Ass", "Carrie") who will star in the lead role.
The remainder of the English voice cast includes James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, Darren Criss, Lucy Liu, Beau Bridges, James Marsden, and Oliver Platt.
"The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya" is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 17, 2014.
