June 29, 2015: Superman Related Panels Coming to San Diego Comic-Con

The complete four day schedule for the upcoming 2015 Comic-Con International: San Diego has been released and there are several panels pertaining to Superman and Supergirl which will be featured during the event which you can read more about below:

Wednesday - Preview Night - July 8:

6.00pm: Special Sneak Peek Pilot Screenings
Supergirl - In the vast DC Comics Universe of superheroes, the rich mythology of Superman, the planet Krypton and the House of El is perhaps the most famous and instantly recognizable. Enter Supergirl! Born Kara Zor-El on the doomed planet Krypton, the preteen Kara escaped at the same time as the infant Kal-El but didn't arrive on Earth until many years later after being lost in the Phantom Zone.

Teen Titans Go! - The Teen Titans are back at it again, in Teen Titans Go!, with all new comedic adventures both in and out of Titans Tower and Warner Bros has you covered by screening a brand-new episode. Based on DC Comics characters and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Teen Titans Go! airs Thursdays at 6/5c on Cartoon Network.

Thursday - July 9:

10.00am - 11.00am: Up, Up and Away: 75th Anniversary of the 1940 Premiere of the Superman Radio Series - Room 29AB
Former DC Comics president Paul Levitz (World's Finest), Len Wein (creator of Swamp Thing and Wolverine), Mark Waid (The Flash, Captain America), and moderator Anthony Tollin (Smithsonian Superman on Radio) discuss the legendary radio program that introduced Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Kryptonite, and the Superman-Batman team into the Superman mythos, and its importance in expanding the Man of Steel's popularity.

3.00pm - 4.00pm: 3rd Annual Musical Anatomy of a Superhero - Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
From the ominous horns of Jaws, to the inspiring theme for Star Wars, music has always been an important supporting character in movies. For the superhero genre, the music reflects these emotions and more. This panel offers a behind the scenes look at the music of today's biggest superhero film and TV projects with unreleased film clips and never before heard music. Participating composers include Junkie XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v. Superman), Christophe Beck (Ant-Man), Marco Beltrami (Fantastic Four), Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Lorne Balfe (Terminator: Genisys), and Blake Neely (Supergirl, Arrow, Flash). Produced by Costa Communications.

Friday - July 10:

1.00pm - 2:00pm: Technology as a Costume Tool - Room 23ABC
The Costume Designers Guild Local 892 members Timothy Wonsik (department head of costumes and archives at Marvel Studios), Soyon An (Jem and the Holograms), Christian Cordella (Jurrasic World), Alan Villanueva (Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 & 2), Jared Marantz (Batman v Superman), Oksana Nedavniaya (Suicide Squad) IATSE 705 Custom Made Field Rep Renee Nault and specialty key costumer Karen Mason (Batman v Superman) discuss how costume designers and illustrator/concept artists work together to utilize technology in the creation of costumes for film and television. Joe Kucharski, editor of Tyranny of Style will be moderating.

1.45pm - 2:45pm: New DC Universe: Superman: Are You Ready? - Room 6DE
The truth is out, Clark Kent is Superman! Though the status quo has changed, Superman is still the most beloved and recognized superhero there is. Fly to this panel to learn the truth behind the comics and discover what Clark's life is like now that his secret is out. This is a panel that you don't want to miss!

7.00pm - 9.00pm: World Premiere of Justice League: Gods & Monsters - Ballroom 20
Animation legend Bruce Timm returns to the popular DC Universe Original Movies with his unique new vision of a Justice League you've never seen before. Justice League: Gods & Monsters features a Superman born of General Zod's blood, a Batman with a healthy dose of bat in the man, and a Wonder Woman rising from the ranks of the New Gods. This ain't your daddy's Justice League. They are as likely the world's saviors as Earth's despotic rulers. A "sneak peek" at a few upcoming releases from Warner Bros. including "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

8.00pm - 11.oopm: Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment Screening Block - Hall H
DC fans, get ready for Super Hero Saturday Night! Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment welcome fans into the world of some of DC Comics' greatest characters during a three-hour experience in Hall H. The exclusive evening will feature a pilot screening of the highly anticipated new drama series Supergirl, followed by a Q&A with stars and producers, plus individual special video presentations and Q&A's with stars and producers from Arrow, The Flash, and Gotham. Also, don't miss a special Q&A with cast and producers of DC's Legends of Tomorrow and a peek at the new digital series Vixen.

Sunday - July 12:

10.00am - 11.00am: DC Entertainment: Meet the Co-Publishers - Room 6DE
DCE's co-publishers are back in San Diego and better than ever. Jim Lee and Dan DiDio are the driving forces behind DC You, Vertigo, MAD, and much more. This up-close-and-personal panel gives you a chance to step up and ask questions about your favorite comic book publishers.

11.15am - 12:45pm: World Premiere of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom - Room BCF
Crime is on the run as the newly formed Justice League keeps Metropolis safe, and this makes evil genius Lex Luthor very unhappy. Together with Black Manta, Sinestro, and a gang of ruthless recruits, Lex builds his own league and declares them the Legion of Doom. With this super-powered team of terror and a plan to attack the top-secret government site Area 52, can Lex finally be on the verge of victory? The bricks are gonna fly when Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League face off against the world's greatest supervillains.
