A special exhibition celebrating iconic 'legends' such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman has launched at the Wrexham Museum located in Wrexham, Wales, UK.
The exhibition coincides with the Year of Legends in Wales and will feature comic book creations and television icons - all of which have a Wrexham link to them!
The Wrexham Museum has teamed up with local artist, Neil Edwards, who works as an illustrator for DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Titan Comics producing the initial pencil drawings for their superhero comic books that are sold across the United States and in Britain.
The exhibition, which will run until January 2018, will feature Edwards' pencil drawings of those well-known comic strip superheroes Superman, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wonder Woman.
Also featured at the exhibition will be vintage figures, toys and models of Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Dr Who, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel and Iron Man as well as rare comics featuring these legendary superheroes from the Golden Age (1938-50) and the Silver Age (1956-70); all on loan from local collectors.
The exhibition opened on June 24th and runs until January 27th, 2018. Admission is free.
