June 13, 2017: Adam West Remembered at Annual Superman Celebration

The recent passing of legendary actor Adam West was a shock to fans worldwide including many who were in attendance at the recent Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL.

In the following video from SyFy Wire, celebration attendees including Superman actor Dean Cain share their heartfelt thoughts & memories of West and what the iconic Batman star meant to them:

The city of Metropolis also paid respect to the memory of West by placing a black arm band on the 15-foot-tall Superman Statue located in the heart of the downtown business district.

West died in Los Angeles on June 9, 2017 following a brief battle with leukemia. He was 88.
