May 30, 2016: Jesse Eisenberg Confirms Lex Luthor Will Return

Filming on "Justice League: Part One" began back in April and while such stars as Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot were confirmed to be on set, the status of Jesse Eisenberg returning as Lex Luthor in the film was unknown.
Now, during a recent appearance at the MCM London Comic-Con, the actor has confirmed that Luthor will indeed be featured once again in the follow-up to "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice":
"I’m kind of in wait. They just started filming Justice League, so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it. I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, because I feel like there’s probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who’s in it. You know, it’s a really talented group of people."
When last seen at the end of "Batman v Superman", Luthor was sporting a new orange jumpsuit and his iconic bald head after being admitted to a maximum security prison. Considering that no prison ever holds Luthor for long, it will be interesting to see what that character has in store for the members of the Justice League in the film.
